Healthy Hummus is Yummus!

Healthy snacking is a great way to refuel your body during the in-between times.

Clean eating is so beneficial to reset our bodies & optimize all the nutrients whole food delivers but at times my clients will tell me they're hungry + grabbed a cookie to satisfy their urge.
The hunger their experiencing isn't due to eating clean - the hunger is from a LACK of nutrient-dense calories they’re not consuming.
When hunger growls, reach for some crisp veggies + give this easy hummus recipe a try.
Easy Homemade Hummus without Tahini
2 cans chickpeas, drained
2 cloves garlic whole
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup of water (add slowly, you might not need all of it)
Add the chickpeas to the food processor along with olive oil, garlic, cumin, salt, and lemon juice.
Pulse until the chickpeas are coarsely chopped, then begin adding the water a little at a time, blending at full power.
When the hummus reaches a creamy consistency, taste and adjust the salt and lemon juice according to your own preferences.
Snacks are beneficial for fueling your body for optimal performance if you’re hungry between meals - reach for fruits + veggies while enjoying each bite.
