Boost your Energy with Oats

Starting your morning off with a healthy breakfast sets you up to have a 'berry' good day. 🍓 

A good breakfast energizes your body + provides it with the fuel it needs. It’s so much harder to get through to lunch when you’re feeling sluggish, with low energy, + HANGRY! Make the most out of your morning by prepping a bowl of overnight oats before bed tonight.
To make overnight oats, all you need to do is mix together rolled or “old fashioned” oats with your choice of either milk. The milk can be soy milk, almond milk, whole milk…whatever you have on hand. Once you mix together the oats + your liquid of choice, set the mixture in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning, add toppings to your oats + enjoy it!

Master Recipe: 

1/2 cup rolled or "old fashioned" oats

1/2 cup milk or yogurt (your choice)

In a bowl or jar, mix together the oats + your choice of either milk or yogurt. Place mixture in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning, mix in one of our favorite combinations:

Peanut Butter + Banana = 1/2 sliced banana, 1 Tablespoon peanut butter, 1/2 teaspoon honey + 1/2 teaspoon chia seeds

Apple + Cinnamon = 1/2 chopped apple, 1/2 Tablespoon maple syrup, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, a dash of nutmeg

Very Berry = 1/4 cup blueberries, 1/4 cup strawberries, 1 teaspoon brown sugar
